Abstract

 

Student evaluation is indisputably one of the most important issues of educational system. It’s an issue of great interest for all factors involved in the educational process: students, teachers, parents and also society. This study intends to give an answer to the following question: Is it possible to assess students in both cognitive and skill level through project method? The survey results are encouraging for the qualitative evaluation of student performance in combination with the usual quantitative assessment tools, while it highlights the importance of alternative teaching methods such as the project method.
